Available to you from SMS group are all core machines for producing electric resistant welded (ERW) tubes. These flexible plants cover product diameters ranging from 10 mm to 710 mm with variable wall thicknesses.

Our cold pilger mills use a special cold forming process which is both cost-efficient and indispensable for many applications. It involves a large number of forming steps to improve roundness, stress homogeneity, and surface roughness of the tubes.

To ensure top quality, SMS group supplies everything from individual machines to complete finishing lines. This includes threading, champherting and straightening machines as well as upsetting and sizing presses and hydrotesters.

The challenging conditions involved in extruding bars, profiles, hollow sections, and seamless tubes made from steel require sophisticated equipment.
